General Info about Small Groups at Highway.
Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at Highway, we encourage you to get into a small group. Small Groups are an important part of "Connecting" people together at Highway. They are a great place to meet people.
We have 3 main sessions during the year; Fall, Winter and Spring.
There is a Christmas break, and we usually take a one week break every 6 weeks. During the summer each Small Group usually hosts a time to get together for a BBQ or some other fun activity.
What are Small Groups?
Small Groups are groups of 5-15 people who meet together weekly in people’s homes or other various locations, to study the Bible, talk about life, figure out ways to grow in their faith, and basically just be there for each other. A Small Group gathering should last no more than 90 minutes, as we want to respect people’s time commitments.
Our Spring Session of Small groups will start the week of April 21st and go into June.
Our Small Groups take a Summer Break from weekly meetings, but do hold social events.
The Fall Session will begin in early October.
