Kids Check-in

As part of the safety for kids, we require all kids to be checked-in via our online platform called "KidCheck".
You can do this at the kiosk in the lobby of the church. We have host available to help you should you require assistance.

On Sunday's, parents are asked to sign their in prior to the service, and pick them up after the service.
On Friday's, please check your child in when you arrive for the Zooom Kids program.

Supervised Nursery and Pre-school  
Available for newborns to age 5

Time:  10:30 am (During our Sunday Service)

You can arrive a few minutes before the service so you have time to check your child in at our kids check-in kiosk (in the lobby), and to settle your child into the Nursery & Pre-School area.

Zoom Church 
For children in Grades SK – 5

The children start the morning in the main auditorium and are dismissed part way through the morning to a program that is designed specifically for them. These sessions are led by an enegetic team of leaders and include songs, games, memory verse games and an amazing Jesus centred teaching time. We are passionate about kids and want them to have fun.

We ask that parents would kindly pick up their children in the Zoom Area at the conclusion of the morning service.

Please note there will be no Zoom Kids program on March 15 (March Break) and March 29 (Good Friday).

Zoom Kids is a FREE program that runs each Friday, at Highway for a night of games, activities, teaching and tons of fun. It is here the kids come to celebrate friendship with God and each other through song, dance, activities, movie nights, and much more. For many kids, it’s the highlight of their week. In a world that can offer much turmoil and heartache this is a safe place to forget everything and just be KIDS!  

Please note all children need to register for this FREE program.

All participants of this program need to be registered, and registration is free. 
There is NO COST for this program.  Registration forms will be available when you come into the program on Friday nights, and we suggest that you show up about 15 minutes before the program start time (which is 7 p.m.) to fill out the registration form.  You can also click the link below to be able to print the form at home and bring it in filled out to save time.  The program ends at 8:30 p.m.  If you require more information, please call our office at 416-267-1189.

Every August we hold a Zoom Camp program for kids between ages 5 - 12.
For many of the kids in our community, this Camp week is the highlight of their summer.

Information about Zoom Camp 2024 will be released in the Spring of 2024

SAFEGUARDING FOR PARENTS

We take the safety and wellbeing of your kids very seriously at Highway. All our volunteers and staff who serve in both Children's and Youth Programs have gone through a background police check, and are trained in safegurading according to our Plan to Protect training course on code of conduct. Volunteers and staff are required to go through the same security checks and training every year they return to serve in our programs.

Registering your child for our programs is part of this safety for your child.

Highway childrens ministry aims to create an experience where kids can learn about Jesus and connect with other kids. We have Hosts that will meet you in our lobby.

We use a secure check-in system to safely check in your child, called "KidCheck". We have hosts that are available to assist you with this process.

All kids from infant to age 5 can go directly to the Nursery & Pre-school area when they arrive at the building. We have hosts in the lobby who are happy to assist you and direct you.

All kids between SK and grade 5 begin each Sunday morning in the main auditorium. They will be dismissed part way to  attend their age specific teaching time. Please check you child in via our secure "KidCheck" when you arrive in the building.

For the safety of all children, we use a secure check-in system called "KidCheck" to sign children in to the kids programs. This system allows parents to sign in their children with the ease of their own device. (We have the ability to assist you should you not have a personal device).

We have hosts that are available to assist you.

The use of this system actually only takes a moment each time you enter the building for one of our programs. For all children in our programs, the parents or guardians only need to set their profile up once.  We trust that you will find this extra layer of protection as an advantage for your child.
